Sitting X Men - Mini Hand‑Built Ceramic Sculptures

Small in scale but full of presence, the Sitting X Man is part of an evolving series of miniature ceramic figures that explore the human form through bold, abstract gestures. Each one is hand-built using grogged stoneware in black, white, or grey, then refined by hand and left unglazed to reveal its natural texture.

Seated with squared limbs and rounded contours, these figures echo the language of the original X Men, part totem, part cartoon, part modernist abstraction. Their postures are grounded, self-contained, and quietly expressive.
